We thank the community for the amazing feedback from our recent intramural seasons with a revamped program structure, and the program has grown tremendously over the past few seasons. We are continuing with certain changes to the program, including capping the number of players in each "Pod". We have sold out for many groups over the past few seasons and we have adjusted the program to accommodate more Pods and players, but please register as early as possible to avoid being closed out - we'll try our best to accommodate all interested players, but cannot guarantee spots if registration exceeds our estimates. Be sure to follow us on social media for updates and alerts.
All players will be registered and compete by Birth Year. "U" is shorthand for "Under" - so U5 means under 5 or 4 years-old. This is not set up to match grade placement, but rather to match US Soccer guidelines. If you are interested in having your player play outside their specified age group, please contact us for permission, but keep in mind that if/when your child moves to travel soccer, they MUST play in their proper age group, per league requirements, so we encourage players to start off in the proper age group at the younger ages. Age groups for the 2024-25 soccer/school year will be classified as follows:
If you have any questions about alternative soccer options for this season, please contact our Director of Coaching, Gerneil "Jigsy" Lorne, at jigs@portsoccerclub.com for more information.

We are offering two dates to pick up uniform kits and equipment prior to the start of the season:
The distributions will be held at [TBD]. If you are unable to attend either of these dates/times, everything will be available for you at your child's first weekend session.
Additionally, we will hold a (virtual) parent information session on [TBD]. The meeting access link will be emailed to registered families closer to that date.
The Port Washington Soccer Club implemented certain changes to our intramural program over the past few years, and will continue to do so for the current program:
- Lower player to trainer ratios: up to 10:1 for U4/U5 and up to 12:1 for U6
- Caps on registrations in each age group, to keep numbers manageable
- 15 minute gap between all age group weekend sessions to allow for time to transition onto and off the field with more space
- Both SATURDAY AND SUNDAY weekend options for all divisions (in order to help keep player to trainer ratios manageable and to provide further options to players with conflicts); due to the limits on Pod sizes and trainer to player ratios, we CANNOT allow players to makeup a missed weekend session on the opposite day - players may only attend the specific session they are registered for.
- "Pods": Players will be generally grouped together for training throughout the season, to maintain smaller circles of contact. Pods may be combined for certain sessions, if necessary, so this is a general approach but not guaranteed for all sessions. All players will be added to a roster in SportsEngine.
- All players should wear cleats and shin guards, and bring a size 3 soccer ball.
The club will provide PWSC-branded size 3 soccer balls to all players. Additional balls may be available for purchase.
Designed for our young soccer players who are looking for a fun, social and athletic experience while building confidence and a love for the game.
