Field Lining, Intramural Field Setup and Intramural Program Assistance

We always need responsible young adults (high school ages and up) to assist with our field lining and intramural setup needs.

We need help setting up our intramural program fields each Saturday and Sunday at Sousa during the intramural soccer season, including setting up small goals, signage and and flags at up to 12 small fields for each session day.  We would like to have our young adults also assist with that set up and take-down process, as well as potentially assist during the sessions with administrative functions, such as checking in players and directing players and parents to their assigned field.

Each season, we line soccer fields of various sizes on the grass fields at several elementary schools in town, including Sousa, Guggenheim and Daly schools.  We have field lining equipment and keep paint in stock to accomplish these tasks.  Typically, fields require initial lining before each season begins (which is done under the guidance of our Director of Coaching, to meet league requirements in field sizes, etc.), and then weekly re-lining, which is essentially running over the existing lines to ensure they are clear and visible for the weekend's games.

If you're interested in helping out, please sign up using the link to the Dibs page below.  There are multiple 2-hour slots available to sign up for each weekend, and students can sign up for multiple slots on the same day.   If you have any questions, please contact us at information@portsoccerclub.com.
