Program Details:

The PWSC’s Wintermurals program, now in its fourth season, is part of our specialized age-appropriate curriculum and focuses on developing skills that will promote players making better decisions under pressure. These include crucial technical skills, such as controlling the ball, manipulating the ball in small spaces, proper dribbling and more. The program will also target proper kicking mechanics to promote good athletic habits, as well as game intelligence to promote a better understanding of how to play the game.

To promote successful engagement and frustration-free development on hard gym surfaces, we employ a specialized, low-bounce indoor ball used in FIFA Futsal. To track your child’s progress over the Winter, the PWSC will provide each player with an individual evaluation at the end of the season. There is no additional cost for this valuable feature, it’s included with the program fee. Although the program is part of the PWSC’s soccer curriculum, players from outside programs can participate to enhance their skills and ready themselves for the spring 2017 season.

Wintermurals will start January 8th and run through March 26th (No sessions: February 19th and 26th due to the winter vacation break). Cost is $175 per player. Sessions will be held at the Schreiber High School Small Gym (in back of the school). (101 Campus Dr, Port Washington, NY 11050  - Map: https://goo.gl/maps/2Yj1LBLYu3S2)

The sessions will sell out. To avoid disappointment, please register immediately.
